Queen Palm
The Queen palm grows up nicely in full sunshine and also sand, well-drained acidic garden soil. Alkaline soils needs to be definitely avoided due to serious nutrient insufficiencies. The palm has extremely high nutritionary needs and requires a normal nutritionary plan. Feed the tree at least two times per year in spring and summer along with fetilizers that contains micronutrients like manganese and potassium. It’s very responsive to ganoderma butt rot (a fatal fungul disease).
